When you arrive in Canada and visit your preferred Scotiabank branch, please bring the following documents
to activate your Scotia Investment Account:

Letter of Enrolment from a Canadian

Copy of this Welcome Letter;
educational institution (or a student ID
card); and
Investment Directions confirmation;
Study permit (IMM 1442 is the most
commonly used form).
Valid foreign passport;
