In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Mast Merciful REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TIPO-TIPO PROVINCE OF BASILAN ANNEX F REPORT ON REHABILITATION EFFORTS ON CLEARED ROADS (Pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circulars 2020-027 and 2020-145) |, Short Narrative/Background LGU Tipo-Tipo is a 3* class Municipality with a population of more or less Twenty Thousand individuals (20,000) as of 2015 Census Conducted by the PSA. At present, the rough estimate of Tipo-Tipo’s population has increased to more or less Thirty-Five Thousand individuals (35,000). With the increase in its population, the number of structures in Tipo-Tipo has also increased exponentially. This has resulted to some of the structures encroaching upon the Barangay, Municipal and National Roads. However, efforts to rehabilitate the displaced sectors has been continuously made to make sure that their livelihood will not be affected. 1, Rehabilitation Efforts Implemented ‘A. Cleaning, flushing, and beautification LGU Tipo-Tipo immediately complied with the directive of President Duterte to clear the roads of any obstruction. Road clearing operations and clean up drive has been conducted in the Municipality of Tipo-Tipo to comply with such directive. Barangay Officials and their constituents also complied with the Road Clearing directive of the government. The following efforts implemented are: 1. Clean-Up Drive in all Barangay 2. Removal of Stock pile and obstruction on the roads 3. Posting of Road Signages B, For obstructing structures Structures obstructing the roads of Tipo-Tipo Municipality was removed and sidewalks along the Tipo-Tipo Market and the Municipal Road has been concreted. C. Installation of streetlights, if applicable ‘The installation of 50 posts intended for Barangay Tipo-Tipo Proper was put on hold and/or postponed due to the ongoing Road re-blocking project at the National High way of Tipo-Tipo Proper.
