I once visited SMAN 1 Batuputih about 4 months ago while completing a fundamental of
teaching assignment. I observe the mathematics learning process there. The teacher carry out
their learning using WhatsApp group and hold class meetings. The teacher provides math
material through the WhatsApp group before class meeting, then student can ask questions about
the material during class meetings. I think the method of sending material via WhatsApp is less
effective. In my opinion, learning will be more effective if we use learning videos and continue
to hold meetings in class. The video contains the teacher explanation of the material and sample
questions. Then student can ask questions via WhatsApp groups and daring class meetings.
