Re: Unsatisfactory holiday accommodation in Nerja from 12 to 27 October
Booking ref: 123456789
We are writing to complain about our holiday in Nerja, Spain, for which your company
arranged the accommodation, and from which we returned last Saturday, October 27.
is very different. In our first evening it took us 25 minutes to walk down to the beach,
Secondly, the swimming pool always clores a, September 30th every year. This is
absolutely clear from the peel admission card found in the accommodation which is
clearly dated until September 30th only. Our first contact with Your company was on
October Ist and we explicitly checked out the availability of the pool; nothing was said te
indicate that it was already closed.
Fourthly, the accommodation hasa't recently been refurbished. One of your
representatives in Nerja, Susan, entirely without Prompting, described the accommodation
a5 “tatty”! The decoration is shoddy and much of the furniture ig chipped and worn out.
Finally, your brochure states that there are Viels to the sea from two of the bedrooms,
This is true of the main bedroom, but in the second bedroom it is only possible to catch
small glimpse of the sea if you stand ona chair!
We went to Nerja full of high hopes for an enjoyable holiday and a complete rest after a
hectic year. We came back in need of further holiday (which we cannot afford) to
‘recover from our experiences,
We look forward to receiving within 14 days your proposals for compensating us for the
considerable disruption and distress we suffered. Please let us know if you require any
additional information or evidence.
