The Hero Wars game review Hello, nerdy folks! Today we are going to talk about NX Studios’ game, Hero Wars. First of all, this is a high fantasy MMORPG game with PVE and PVP content. Characters have many references to 1990s! and 2000s' cult video games, e.g., Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Diablo, Defense of the Ancients (aka Dota), etc. I've played several hours this game so, I have some to tell. Activities Hero Wars has several game activities: At first, you can play the Campaign. It is a corridor of levels per se. Everyone is a group of three fights. As you level up, you can do more: There is the Arena, a hive of activity for PVP players, where you could go toe to toe with another player's heroes. I haven't been to the Grand Arena yet. You can play in rouge-like style in the Tower. Floor by floor, you can fight with more and more dangerous enemies. Then, you fail, you need to start over. On the Airship, you can send your heroes on an expedition, a mission with a timer, for some goods. The Outland. My favorite activity, I like it because of boss fights. They were a breath of fresh air. Style The game characters have a chibi style. Not for everyone, but I like it. As I said above, they have many references to cult video games. Thea uses a staff, which works just like archmage's one from Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Galahad looks just lke a chibi Garen from League of Legends. Astaroth is similar to an angel from the Diablo series, like Tyrael. Etc. I think it is cozy. Gamers created it, and you can notice that. (By the way, the Portal Gem item looks like 20 from Dungeons & Dragons, and it is cool!) Also, every character has Xs instead of eyes when they die. Kind of comic/cartoon style. I thought it fun. Then I saw an undead guy with these Xs, but it was alive! And I thought that is astonishing! Summing up It is a good game with delightful arts, but it is not my cup of tea. I prefer RPGs with deep setting work and more deep character control. But I am sure that Hero Wars will find its fanbase Well, It did. And I assume my opinion is unnecessary here. Bye.
