Important Reminders
Creative Writing is a class that explores many different genres in writing. Students will read excerpts from famous,
respected authors and model work after their style. Students should expect to have writing activities each week.
For each lesson, students will complete at least one writing assignment.
At the end of the semester, they will submit a portfolio which will be composed of a selection of their revised
assignments such as poems and stories.
All work must be original and entirely their own. Plagiarism is the use of another's work without giving proper credit.
It is not acceptable and is a serious offense; therefore cite the sources always.
Moreover, students are expected to meet deadlines set in the class.
Modular students must submit a printed copy to the instructor via drop box on a specified schedule.
Online students must submit a soft copy to the instructor via email.
