4. The Schools Division Office | Pangasinan shall conduct a Reading Brigade to all
learners,
2. This activity aims to:

a. identify learners who are Non-readers / Non-decoders in English; OCT 1 9 2999
b. align programs, projects and activities to the assessed needs,
c. implement the need — based interventions; and, SDOtRECGOS —
d. give awards to the best reading performers.
3. All School Heads both in elementary and secondary are instructed to download
the SDO | Reading Videos at htto://tinyurl.com/SD01ReadinaVideos and conduct
the Reading Brigade ffom October 20-30, 2020
4, School Heads shall analyze the result and formulate a reading intervention to
decrease or have a zero non-reader by the end of the school year.
5. PSDSs should assign a District Reading Coordinator in the elementary and in the
secondary (Junior HS and Senior HS)
6. The PSDSs shall analyze the district consolidated result and extend Technical
Assistance to the teachers with reference to the reading improvement of Non-
readers.

7. All concerned shall submit the needed Reading Report using the enclosed
template and follow the timeline.
8. An award shall be given to the following on November 27, 2020 which is in
support to the Araw ng Pagbasa as stated in Enclosure No. 1 to DepEd Order
No.030s. 2020.
* Most Improved Reader: Non-Reader who showed outstanding
improvement in reading
* Best Reading Teacher/Department + Head/School__ Head
Implementer:Teachers, Department Head and School Head who
implemented an effective reading intervention and with zero non-reader in
the class/department/school
‘+ Best PSDS Reading Implementer: PSDS who has zero non-reader in
his/her district
+ Best District Reading Coordinator: District Coordinator who submitted
the reading Report ahead of time and with accuracy.
