My name is Anna Romero, and I was pleased to learn about the

available School Counselor position. I have a Bachelor in Theatre Arts
with an emphasis in musical theatre as well as a master’s in counseling
with a PPSC in school counseling. I have eight years of experience
working in hospitality and customer services. Through those years I
have learned great communication skills and have learned how to help
people with their needs. I also have experience working with children
with disabilities by assisting the lead teacher in conducting a learning
experience for students assigned to me. I always wanted to choose a
career where I would be able to work with children and the theatre. As
a School Counselor I will have the opportunity to work with children
and my theatre background will help me be that artistic counselor
students need. I have gained my experiences working as a school
counselor through my internship at an elementary school level. I have
gained experience in working in virtual SEL lessons for students,
creating and presenting SEL lessons, participating in individual
counseling, and collaborating with staff and administrators.

If given the opportunity, I will make sure to provide excellent guidance

and ensure no student is left behind. My resume is attached for further
