In Language, we continue to go through the alphabet for the third time! Emphasis is being placed on beginning sounds, introduction to letter formation, and stretching out a
single word into sounds. We continue to meet in small groups to develop phonological awareness skills such as blending and segmenting words. In Writing, we have been
introduced to the concept of a sentence. We continue to work on stretching out sounds into words. Numeracy-we continue to deepen our number sense through hands-on
activities and games. We continue to learn about how numbers can be represented in different ways (symbols and pictures).
