Dear Ma’am,

I hope this letter finds you well. For almost three years working in this institution, I’ve learned
and grown so much, not just professionally but also emotionally. I am so thankful and grateful
that I became part of this institution. I have nothing against this school, in-fact it became one of
my comfort zones; knowing that I have great colleagues which I call friends, I have an
understanding math coordinator, and I have dynamic administrators. However, the time has
come that I feel the best decision to make it to resign. I need to take risk not just for myself but
also for my family. I am the breadwinner of my family and it’s a necessity for me to venture and
find a new beginning that will uphold the essentials of everyone that is under my accountability.

In this regard, I request to report in this school until the end of my contract. Don’t worry I will
still give and do my best in everything that I do while I’m still in this institution. I would wish to
stay longer, but my situation right now tells me to do the other way and I hope you understand
that. People come and go, but one thing is for sure; someone will fill in what was left. I hope that
whoever fill the position will perform better than I did.
