There is a few Implementations that I believe will make our firewall and security more secure.

We can look into ACL’s. This will allow access list that will be used to determine wheather certain traffic
is blocked or allowed through. Will also filter based on source and destination addresses, inbound and
outbound to a specific interface.

You could also look into packet filters to help protect the router and network from heavy traffic or
smaller attacks. This will also control which packets are forwarded from which router interfaces.

Routing policies could be used to control the size of content of the routing table.

For me the most important would be to use application layer filter to stop DoS and buffer overflow
attacks when the data itself is used to initiate the exploit
