USD 503
Parsons District Schools — USD 503 is a wonderful place full of great students and highly-qualified, caring staff. We have strong
academic and athletic programs in addition to outstanding fine arts, vocational program opportunities and a myriad of clubs and
organizations. There is something for every student in Parsons District Schools. We are the first friendly faces that you will meet when
you enter our buildings. As part of the Viking Family, our goal is to make every student and parent feel welcome and supported.
USD 503, Home of the Parsons Vikings, is organized into five education centers offering quality programs for students from pre-k
through grade 12. Our schools are Lincoln School (Pre-K – Grade 1), Garfield School (Grades 2 & 3), Guthridge School (Grades 4 & 5),
Parsons Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Parsons High School (Grades 9–12). We are members of the Tri-County Special Education
Interlocal 607 and the Southeast Kansas Education Service Center at Greenbush.
Each one of us has the same goal and we are proud of the staff, parents and students that make up our schools and we would
like to be the school district of choice.
It’s a great day to be a VIKING.
