Recognizing Fractures

An Open Fracture would look like:


 Open  fractures are fractures that communicate with the extraordinary
environment through a skin opening. It has a risk  for bone and soft
tissue infection. It can be at higher risk of associated neurovascular
injury. Antibiotics and surgical management are the need to be done
with this kind of fracture. 

A Closed Fracture would look like:


 The closed fracture does not affect the open skin when it is fractured.
The bone is broken inside of our body and can not be seen by our
eyes. It can only be located through some medical equipment and
tools. Some of the closed fractures are broken wrist, broken knee,
broken ankle and others.
