The government gifts children with materials of knowledge used to assist them with writing the

exams that certify them worthy of the next chapters of their lives. The idea of the computer
replacing books is a complete waste of time and here is why.
In addition, the books follow the syllabi and are equipped with data that assists children in
completing their academic journeys. The exams extrapolate information from the books to
construct questions. Many students have used these books as studying materials and they
perform excellently at the examinations. Computers offer information that are not completely
accurate. The distribution of government textbooks offers the necessary information and
specializes in renewing their materials to fit the changing world.
In addition, a book is embedded with and only information needed. meanwhile, computer give
children information and a list of distractions. Eventually, the children divert from their original
goal and seek the pleasure of distractions on a desktop. A prime example is the system at schools
where this absurd idea is implemented. Students use the excuse of doing schoolwork and do
nothing of the sort. Focusing whilst on a computer has proven that it is nearly impossible.
Thirdly, purchasing and maintaining computer systems are costly for the government and
environment too. Manufacturing computers are high-priced procedures that require tons of pricey
materials. The operations produce greenhouse gases in profuse amounts. Meanwhile, books use
trees which are readily available in Guyana and restored.
In conclusion, the distribution of government books is certainly not a waste of money because
there are benefits than there are disadvantages. The books are written in respects to the syllabi
provided for children to successfully complete their examinations. They leave no room for
distractions and are lastly very cheap and eco-friendly. Computers do not guarantee those.
