Hummus

Ingredients
•2 cups cooked chick peas
•3 t bsp lemon juice
•2 t bsp chopped cilant ro leaves
•4-6 t bsp olive oil
•½ cup wat er
•½ cup t ahini/ sesame past e
•2 t sp brown sugar
•1 t sp hing
•½ t sp black pepper
•1 t sp salt
•¼ -½ t sp chili powder
Preparation
1.Mix all ingredient s well in a blender.
2.If it get s t oo dry, add more wat er or olive oil.
3.If you do not have t ahini, peanut but t er can be subst it ut ed (it t ast es as
good as it is made of t ahini).
4.Sprinkle some cilant ro leaves or chili powder on t op and serve cold.
5.You may use hummus as a spread wit h your bread, crackers, or veggies
such as celery st icks, baby carrot s, broccoli f lowers, caulif lowers, bell pepper
st rips, and so f ort h.
