City Tabs
There are 25 city tabs, three are shown and the other 22 are hidden (right click on a tab and select
Unhide).
You cannot just copy a City tab and expect it to work!! The formulae would need to be updated to
reflect this additional city. That's why there are 25 cities already, should be plenty, just use one of the
pre-made ones!!
It is now necessary to input the number of Districts in each City, so that Consumption is correctly
calculated. Put the correct number in the yellow box at the top of the page.
The shown District is the middle District of a 5 x 5 matrix of Districts. To expand/add further Districts,
Unprotect the sheet, highlight all the cells and then Unhide. You can then re-hide those Districts you
don't want.
There are only five city maps at present, plus the template. Just copy the template and rename it to
your city! It does not link to other sheets, unlike the City tabs.
Overall
Press F9 to update any calculations or generate a random Event. This has been enabled to ensure
modifications to the Overall sheet do not automatically generate a new random event each time.
Role names are selected from a drop-down menu, which comes from data in the Character Data sheet
Only text in white boxes can be added, deleted or changed. Anything in grey boxes is calculated. The
rest is done using drop-down menus.
The Promotion, Taxation and Festivals drop-downs are blacked out when their associated posts are
vacant. They still function, however (just hidden).
Random weather is generated depending on the season selected.
Current Year is calculated from 4708 AR plus however long the Kingdom has been going. Use YY.MM
to represent the current Year/Month in the Kingdom Age box, e.g. 12.5 = 12 years and 5 months.
The Ruler Attribute boxes are blocked out until the Kingdom Size reaches the relevant threshold
(1,21,81) at which point they become visible.
Character Data
Enter the names of the PC's and NPC's who may be used on your Council. You can then select these
people from a drop-down list on the Overal sheet.
Stat bonuses are calculated automatically (Unhide rows Q-R). If a character's stat increases, just enter
the new value here.
Hidden Sheets
Some sheets, like the Event Generator, are hidden so you'll need to Unhide them to see/modify their
contents.
There are 25 City sheets in total, just Unhide them as you need them and copy the City Map template.
If you need more than 25 cities (!) then the formulae will need to be updated.
3 Selling magic items generate 1 BP per 4,000 gp value, rounding down (instead of
a fixed 2/8/15 BP in the rules).
4 You gain one Unrest for each 2,000 gold per BP withdrawn from the Treasury.
Make a Loyalty check (Control DC + BP withdrawn) otherwise further increase
Unrest by 1d6.
5 You MAY convert a building into a more advanced version by using a turn's "build
a building" action and paying the difference in BP. Eg: You can convert an
Herbalist (10 BP) into an Alchemist (18 BP) by spending 8 BP.
