Have you ever set out to complete a goal then ended up all over the place with it. . . .
expending energy and focus inefficiently, and ending up with poor results?

Understanding how your brain works in the goal attainment process is crucial.

Welcome to the Innercise® on creative visualization! Here's where we use proven

psychology and the latest advancements in neuroscience to help you visualize your goals
into action and accomplish your goals and dreams.

If you're not getting what you want, the problem you may be facing is a lack of clarity
within the visual cortex (located in the back of your brain), which helps you shape your
goal into a concrete image.

It is important to exercise the visual cortex in order to send a visual of what you want to
your "idea center," your left prefrontal cortex. This is where your sense of self is
developed.

But this process doesn’t happen subconsciously. You have to take the time to create a
clear image for your mind to focus on. Only then can you turn your idea into a vision that
you can move toward with certainty.

Practices like creative visualization techniques, meditation, self-reflection,

and mindfulness help stimulate new, positive neural pathways.
This Innercise is called, "Cognitive Priming." It will help you to enhance the genius part of
your brain, gain clarity on what you want, achieve your goals, and bring your vision to
fruition.

Try this a creative visualization exercise to help you make your dreams a
reality; it's an Innercise to visualize.

Follow these steps to create a clear, concrete image of what you want to accomplish.

1. Take 10-15 minutes and write down a goal, big or small.

Be very detailed in your description, so that if someone read it, they would know exactly
what you want to achieve. By doing this, you are activating your visual cortex. Get as clear
as possible.

2. Review what you wrote down. . . . and impress all the details into your
mind.

What does it feel like, look like, smell like to achieve your goal? This will prime your brain
for action. You'll notice your thoughts, feelings, and emotions will change . . . and your
behavior will start to align with the goal, setting you on a path toward success.

3. Imagine what it feels like after you achieve your goal.

This is cognitive priming, and it stimulates the "genius" part of your brain located in the
prefrontal cortex. Practicing creative visualization is another great way to train your
subconscious mind for success.

By learning how to retrain your brain, you’ll stop standing on the edge of your potential . .
. and you’ll start fulfilling more of what you are capable of achieving.
