T 992 309 POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN ORCHESTRAL CONDUCTING

Programme Objectives:
The postgraduate course of study provides students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of
the repertoire by building on the knowledge and skills already acquired in a completed master degree
programme or diploma study. An orchestra is available for instruction several times a semester.

Criteria for Admission:

Completion of a master degree programme or diploma study in conducting at a post-secondary
educational institution either in Austria or abroad.

Admission:
To be admitted to the programme, candidates must submit their diploma (with certified translation if
not in German), their diploma supplement (for european completion of studies) and obtain the written
approval of the course instructor in the Conducting Department.

Students are permitted to repeat the course of study upon approval by the course instructor from the
department.

The final examination consists of the successful completion of the individual courses.
