Evidence: The happiness advantage

I will never forget the day I presented my thesis at the jury and it was approved.
It was on December 22nd of 2018. I was finishing my career and that day was the last
opportunity of the year to do the presentation of the thesis before the jury.
I was really nervous because it meant the last effort to me to show all the hard work
behind the career and the elaboration of the thesis. I could only think that after I ended
my presentation I had to wait for the comments of the jury about the thesis.
I could respond every question that the jury had asked me, so I waited for the verdict:
“Your thesis work has our approval, you can come to the graduation ceremony next
year” – were the words that come out from one of the members. I was really excited, I
even jumped of happiness that day.
I won’t forget that night, my classmates and I invited Professor Juarez – the teacher who
helped us with our thesis – to eat dinner in a restaurant. We all ate grilled chicken and
drank soda. We the students had been sincerely thanked for the Professor’s advisory in
our thesis works, since without his help most of us wouldn’t get pass the presentation.
