ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Every branch of a company in any sector will require information systems, from
administrative offices, factories, or from accounting to marketing, today information
systems are key tools for transactions processing, decision making, problem solving and
operations of any organization.

Accountability Information systems are normally used to have a good control and a better
decision making which will set the course of a company; The highs, lows and disabilities
that we have, among other data we find them in an information system of this subject,
which will help us to have a better control and to organize better the budgets that the
company requires.

The systems related to accounting are based on accounting books, catalog of accounts
and newspapers, as they allow the company to process sales receivables and purchases
payable to customers and suppliers respectively and of course in payroll payment.

If the company has is of considerable magnitude, sometimes we have within the area of
accounting with different departments in charge of a specific purpose, ranging from the
payroll to the manager of fixed assets of the company.

In the field of accounting, systems can be implemented for payroll and suppliers payment,
collection to customers, etc.

Information system will depend on output we need, and decisions that we must make, this
information must be accurate, and timely.

The information that is produced in a department can be shared with other departments,
and thus processes can be reduced. An information system can determine success or
failure of a company, because it increases competitiveness and you have current
information that will aid to a quickly decision making.
