Republic of the Philippines Department of Education REGION III-CENTRAL LUZON SEP 24 7020 REGIONAL MEMORANDUM No. 237 _, s, 2020 ONLINE TRAINING-WORKSHOP ON BALIK KASAYSAYAN DIGITAL ‘TRAVELOGUE: REGION III HISTORICAL TRAIL To: Schools Division Superintendents 1, In consideration of the Covid-19 pandemic where areas are put in General Community Quarantine (GCQ), the Department of Education (DepEd) accelerated the adoption of alternative models to continuously respond to the educational needs of learners. To ensure the provision of quality education for Araling Panlipunan and to strengthen the advocacy for the love of country in Region Ill, the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office 3, through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) shall conduct the Webinar on Balik Kasaysayan Digital Travelogue: Region 3 Historical Trail developed by Schools Division Offices on September 10-11, 2020 via google meet. 2. The online training-workshop aims to: 2.1 discuss the process on how to create a digital travelogue in view of new normal in education relevant to the learning delivery modalities; 2.2 develop contextualized digital travelogue to be used in Araling Panlipunan Grades 2,3,5,6 and 7 as supplementary materials; and 2.3 develop a positive attitude towards historical awareness of barangay origins or local history. 3. The participants to this activity are the Regional and Division Education Program Supervisors (EPSs) in Araling Panlipunan (AP), 1 FTAD, 1 QAD, and 1 HRDD Supervisors. One (1) Elementary Principal and one (1) Junior High School Principal per division, one (1) Araling Panlipunan teacher per division in Grades 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, and five (5) members of the Technical Working Group (TWG). 4. The registered participants will be accommodated via google meet and the rest will watch in Facebook live streaming. The link for online registration will be sent to the Division AP EPSs. 5.
