Project: Pilot demo plant
• Pilot plant is a water treatment process used for testing a full scale process
needed for purification of wastewater.
Background Research & Introduction: Water Treatment
• Water treatment is any process that improves the quality of water to make it more acceptable for a specific end-use.
The end use may be drinking, industrial water supply, irrigation, river flow maintenance, water recreation or many
other uses, including being safely returned to the environment. Water treatment removes contaminants and
undesirable components, or reduces their concentration so that the water becomes fit for its desired end-use. This
treatment is crucial to human health and allows humans to benefit from both drinking and irrigation use.
Background Research & Introduction: Filtration Chart
Problem Statement
• Design and automated demo Pilot Plant needed for testing a full scale water treatment process
needed to purify water and also demonstrate to potential clients and the company clients for the
service available to them. In your design pay attention to efficiency of the system, cost and
hygiene.

Electrical Designs
• Before panels are built, with the desired automation control in mind, components to be used are selected
based on cost, safety, availability, power consumption. Then Electrical Control Panel schematics are drawn and
with their wiring connections.

Conclusion
• I am very grateful for the opportunity that QFS has given me to help me
develop in my career and get the relevant experience and exposure.

• I would like to thank all my colleagues for being there to assist me in

different tasks I had to complete, not only did I gain experience in the field of
mechatronics, but professionally I have also developed in role play in a
team. Gained skills which are important and understood the role of
individuals in a team in terms of Responsibility, Accountability, Consultation,
Informative.
• QFS helps you enjoy quality clean water with latest technology, all you
have to do is to take a sip of that quality water and enjoy!!!
• Thank you
