Should boys and girls go to separate schools?

In some countries there are schools which are separate for boys and for girls.
Some psychologists are sure that this division can influence the quality of
education.
From the one hand, there are some advantages of separate schools. Boy's and
girl's brains do function in different ways, so they learn differently. Girls are good
at listening and speaking, because they are more passive learners. On the contrary,
boys are more kinetic learners and they need to learn by doing. Most famous
schools in Great Britain are separate: St.Mary's school, Moreton Hall school, Royal
High school, St.Francis College. Moreover, children in these schools spend all
their time for education and ability to work in a team, so nothing disturbs them.
On the other hand,  kids that learn in single-sex schools have a hard time
working with the other gender. Moreover, both boys and girls should study in the
same school because they should know about the genders better and interact with
each other without difficulty. Furthermore, some girls can choose extracurricular
activities which are popular among boys and boys can choose some girls' hobbies.
In single-sex schools they have no this possibility. There are only mixed schools in
Russia.
As for me, I would prefer schools both for boys and for girls because I think
it is more natural. We live in a society which consists of two genders and children
should learn how to live in it even at the young age.
