Rabat American School Accredited: Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Paul W. Johnson, Ed.D. Director October 14, 2009 To Whom It May Concern Re: Rhonda Lesperance Rhonda has worked at Rabat American School (RAS) since August, 2006. She began as a half time assistant, and was asked to work full time when another halftime person left the school. RAS is a small (425 students), private, international school located in Rabat, Morocco. As it is located in the nation’s capital, students from over 40 countries attend the school. Rhonda has fulfilled her duties with dedication and professionalism. She is makes herself available to students and faculty needing assistance and, due to her own training as a librarian, she is able to provide support and guidance at a level of a librarian. This has been an asset to the school and the secondary library in particular. As RAS is a small school, there is a high level of expectation that faculty and staff will help beyond their regular assignments. Rhonda has readily volunteered to help with a variety of activities. She has assisted with our summer school, worked with the student council, chaperoned our Week Without Walls program for middle schoo! students, assists with swimming ‘events at the school, and helps out with chaperoning such things as dances and movie nights. One of the things that impresses me about Rhonda is her energy and level of involvement in the wide range of activities a community like ours has to offer. Her support has been important in the success of the events.
