WRITING
From my point of view, because teachers and schools are responsable for what
goes on in the classrooms, raise standards is necessary to improve the quality
of education. Students must have a clear and precise intruction so it is
necessary to achieve it with standards.
Standards ensure better students academic efficiency. Also learning to
standards helps ensure that a higher level of learning is attained, guides
teachers in the process of assessment and helps keep them on track. Indeed,
instructing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of student learning are
improved by standards based instruction.
This standards based instruction are followed by teachers to ensure that their
students meet the demands targeted. Following a standards-based model for
classroom assessment and instruction is an approach that teachers should use
to track student performance and plan a focused instruction to meet the specific
needs of students.
Furthermore, a standards-based model includes an ethical practice where the
qualities for the teaching profession should be: care, respect, trust,
responsibility, emphatic and integrity. Without them, the countries education
couldn't improve their level.
In conclusion, the use of standards ensures that teaching practices deliberately
focus on agreed upon learning targets.
