Taman Indah, teachers and fellow students. As you are aware, our school is organizing a
“Health Week” to raise awareness among students about the need to be more health
conscious. Obesity has been on the rise among young people. As the Chairperson of the
organizing committee, I would like to give a talk on __________________________.

Teachers and fellow friends,

There are many reasons contributing to obesity. Firstly, the continuous


________________ is the main factor for one to be obese. Eating too much
_______________ and fast food such as potato chips, fries and crackers in between meals is
a reason why youngsters are putting on weight nowadays. All this food items contain
___________________ that are not needed by our body and thus are stored as fat.

exercise they do not work off the extra fat thus become overweight.

do the house chores. Young people tend to be lazy and less active. They will loosen their

not healthy at all as after supper they will go to bed thus making them overweight.

However there are many ways for a person to lose weight. Here are some
suggestions on how you can throw away those extra unwanted kilos. Exercise is the key to

extra fat that is stored in the body. The easiest exercise you can do is jogging or brisk
walking as it is simple, easy and cheap. All you need to do is to take a brisk walk around the
neighbourhood to lose some weight.

lunch and dinner, reduce the amount of rice to one bowl. The fact that by lowering the
