Arts leadership means being an advocate for the arts and moving the field forward.

Also being an advocate for those who don’t have access to the arts. I think it’s so

important for everyone to experience an art form at least once in their lifetime because

the arts allow for creativity to grow abstractly. Music specifically is so abstract, allowing

it to be open to many different interpretations, so as musicians we owe it to society to

bring music to everyone. Accessibility to the arts is one aspect of arts leadership, and

keeping arts up to date is another. Continuing to bring the arts into the current time is

what makes the arts interesting and relevant.
