For many years the mechanism for emission and absorption has been in the shadows and the

chromatic distribution curve discovered by Herr Planck under the assumption of quantum
nature throws some light on this mechanism. However, the internal behavior of the interaction
between light and matter is still in doubt. Here I show that the Planck distribution can be
obtained by adding stimulated emission in addition to spontaneous emission and stimulated
absorption in a thermal equilibrium which is closely related to Wien's original argument, giving
us the relation between classical electrodynamics and the quantum theory. Using this result I
was able to demonstrate that there is a recoil effect in a random direction due to a
momentum transfer, to keep this theory free from contradictions.
