DATA ANALYSIS: -

Pre - test and Post - test answer scripts are collected from IX standard students of Government
High School, Bairamangalam. All answer scripts were valued individually. Total marks and percentages
are calculated to find out the level of understanding the structure of Atom through activities.

The above table - 2 revealed that the percentage is significantly different. The percentage shows that
there is a significant difference between the student's values scores of pre - test and post - test. The

FINDINGS OF THE STUDY

there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores of all the students

the performing level of learnings skill of both boys and girls in pre-test and post-test are found that not
having any difference.

activities really entertained the students of IX class, and it develops a good understanding.

activity helps the students to learn and retain the atomic structure, and electronic configuration more
easily.

teaching atomic structure through the activities enrich the usage of atomic mass, atomic number,
quantum number, charges of subatomic particles, valency of an atom, nucleus of an atom knowledge of
students to capture more words very easily on looking the relevant activities in an innovative way.

students to do the activities and they participate in the activities with more enthusiasm and willingness
than any other classroom task.

12. CONCLUSION OF THE STUDY

achievement level of students acquiring knowledge of skill has been increased through activities

activity and project practice in the various skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing.

different categories of activity and projects really creates the motivation among the students to get
involved and participate activity in the learning 'atomic structure' through activities.

activity brings real world context into the classroom and enhance students use of English in a flexible
communicative way.

activities encourage students to interact and communicate. also, activities are likely to motivating and
challenging the students.
