The highest number of coronavirus confirmed cases in South Korea is at age 20-29 which is
29.9% while in Italy, it is at age 70-79 which is 22.2%. Both countries have the lowest number of cases
whose age ranges from 0-9. At ages 10-19, 30-39, 40-49, and 50-59, South Korea has greater number of
confirmed cases than Italy, namely, 5.0% and 1.1%; 10.7% and 5.9%; 13.7% and 11.1%; and 18.9% and
18.1%, respectively. However, Italy has greater number of cases at ages 60-69, and 80 above, namely,
12.3% and 18.3%; and 3.0% and 19.1%, respectively.

Line Graph

The highest number of COVID cases in South Korea is reported on February 29, 2020 which is
900 new cases. Before February 29, the number of cases is increasing although the trend fluctuates at
the last two weeks of February. After February 29, the trend of the number of reported cases is
fluctuating and decreasing.
