A CONDOLENCE MESSAGE PRESENTED BY PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLY OF THE

WORLD, NTO ETON DISTRICT CHOIR, TO MASTER KINGSLEY GODWIN EKONG

ON THE BURIAL OF HIS BELOVED FATHER, LATE MR. GODWIN EKONG,
TODAY 19TH FEBRUARY, 2021

It was with great shock that we, the entire executives and members of PAW District
Choir, Nto Eton received the sad news of the sudden departure of your beloved
father, late Mr. Godwin Ekong.

Obviously an icon has gone into the cold hands of death at a critical stage and prime
of life when you needed him most. Truly, daddy is gone never to been by mortals.
Weep not and don’t be dismayed even like others who have no hope. Indeed, we
know that reminiscence into the past and a stern look into the future reveal a
vacuum which is mostly likely to remain because of the special cares and attention
accrued to fathers alone.

We still believe that in this world so encapsulated by sin you least expect his survival
beyond the minute than he did. He has yielded to the call of his master.

Therefore, though we cannot stop the tears, we charge you as a good soldier of the
cross, to brace up and take solace in God’s words knowing that if Christ was raised
from the death, the dead in Christ shall rise on that resurrection morning over the
river Jordan.

We pray the Almighty God to comfort, keep, uphold, strengthen and preserve you,
and also grant you the fortitude to bear this great and irreplaceable loss and to your
departed father a blissful rest and a perfect peace in His bosom in Jesus name.
