MCD Spreadsheet

I learned how to use Excel much better with this project. Such as, creating pie, line,
and bar charts to visually see data. Before this assignment, I was not too familiar with
Excel and never learned how to properly utilize it. I am so glad we learned some skills
in this assignment, because it has inspired me to learn how to use Excel more and use
it in my everyday life. I learned some skills for Excel through Professor Saladino’s tips
posted on the assignment and, also, with Google's help. I am excited to incorporate my
everyday life on some charts, to help me visually see what I am doing with my time,
groceries, and how much mother’s milk I donate. Essentially, to help me keep track of
my life!

Ensure all students have skilled teachers who actively use technology to meet student
learning needs.

I plan on using the skills I learned to one day, if I teach older students, help students
create charts consisting of what they do in a 24 hour period. For example, 8 hours of
sleep, 8 hours of school, 1 hour of getting ready, 2 hours of watching tv, etc. I feel it
would be fun and eye-opening for them to see visually what they do with their time.
This would help teach them that time is valuable, thus maybe encouraging them to be
more productive with their time. Additionally, help them become familiar with Excel,
which will help them in other areas such as future jobs and keeping track of finances.
