MY OWN UNDERSTANDING:
Cognitive and metacognitive factors are the strategic thinking utilization in their approach to
learning, reasoning, problem-solving, and concept learning. Students understand and can use
different ways to help them reach learning and performance goals and apply their knowledge in
different situations.

In motivational and affective factors, we think about a classroom as an intellectual area where
students receive knowledge. However, student emotions and motivations play a significant role
in the learning process. In short, this aspect of learning centers on how learners feel about their
education and the subject environment. Thus, motivations and attitudes influence their learning
experience.

Developmental factors are the provisions and variations that affect emotional, intellectual,
social, and physical development from the idea of maturity. Samples introduce parental behavior
and vitalization, companion relations, learning experiences, pleasurable activities, and inherited
weaknesses. In social factors, it portrays another significant set of influences on one's behavior.
Specifically, these are the outcomes of each individual and organization influencing one another
through culture and subculture, social class, associations, and family.

Lastly, individual differences refer to features that identify one person from another and stable
over time and across situations. Traditionally, these features have included cognitive, affective,
behavioral, and genetic traits attributes to persons or animals.
