UNIFORM CIRCULAR MOTION

Uniform circular motion is the motion of an object in a circle path at a constant speed
 ANGLE (θ)
Before you learn about this, there is a conditions that must be remembered : the circular motion is not using degree to
define an angle. It uses radian instead of degree.
How to transform degree into radian?
Example

*We can easily transform this into radian by multiplying degree with

*Or remember that one revolution is valued at 2π rad

 ANGULAR VELOCITY (ω)

General equation

EXAMPLE
A wheel with 2 m radius have 10 revolution within 5 seconds. What is the angular velocity of the wheel?
Total angle = 10 revolution
1 revolution valued at 2π rad, so
Total angle = 10 x 2π = 20π rad
Total time = 5 seconds

CENTRIPETAL ACCELERATION

R = radius (m)
