Self Essay

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Muh. Afdhol Isnan. I was born on May 27
2002 in Bone, South of Sulawesi. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. My father’s job was an
English teacher in 11th high school Makassar and my mother’s job was an English teacher in
6th junior high school Makassar. I don’t know why my parents have same job. But I don’t
know much about English. I am grateful that I was born in a family that loves me, and
provide life lessons that mean enough for me

From elementary school to high school I really like joining organizations and
extracurricular activities. I don't know why I like to find experiences. When I was in
elementary school, I went to SDI Jongaya 1 and I joined a scout organization. When I was
in junior high school, I attended SMPN 6 Makassar. I take extracurricular graphic design.
However, the extracurricular tourists did not last long for one thing. So my classmates and
I created a community about making videos and won a short video contest organized by
im3. When I attended high school at SMAN 11 MAKASSAR I entered the ROHIS
organization, and OSIS. During the organization I had a lot of experiences in my life.
Starting from understanding other people, responsibility, team work, solidarity, and much
more.

After graduating from high school, I want to continue studying. Fortunately, I

entered the selection of students who could participate in SNMPTN. But because the
university I chose, the chance of graduating was very small, plus I chose a university on
the island of Java. But when choosing a university, I just relied on luck because I knew my
chances were small. Feel stupid for wasting the opportunity to enter a university that has
a great chance of qualifying. As a result, I did not pass SNMPTN. Then I prepared myself
to take part in the SBMPTN. In SBMPTN I chose UNM to be my choice. My first choice is
Psychology and Educational Technology second choice. After studying hard the results
didn't disappoint. After becoming a student at UNM. the intention to join the organization
ceased to exist. Maybe because college is new to me and my goal at college is just to make
my parents proud.

Those are the few stories of my life, actually a lot that I didn't tell because I
consider not all my personal things I can reveal to others.
