7. RADIO CODES LEARNING PROCEDURE
The control unit DO NOT ALLOW the transmitter storing procedure if there are NOT ACTIVE SAFETY DEVICES.
Make sure that the safety inputs n° 4 STOP (DL3), n° 5 Photocells CLOSE (DL4), n° 6 Photocells OPEN (DL5),
n° 8 SAFETY EDGE (DL6) are connected.
If not even one safety device has been wired, proceed with the temporary EXCLUSION (see paragraph 3.5 / 3.6.)
The control unit is designed to be used with radio remote controls with fixed code or rolling code.
It is necessary to identify the type of the remote control to be used before you start programming.
After storing the first remote control, the control unit will work only with transmitters of that kind, fixed code
if the first stored remote control is a fixed code or rollling code if the first remote control stored is a rolling code,
with no chance to reset.
Before starting the storage of the remote controls, proceed (for safety) to the cancellation of any existing codes.
Q50 14
8. CONTROL UNIT PROGRAMMING
The Control unit is supplied by default with the SEQUENTIAL Programming.
The delay time between the leaves is set to 3 seconds (both in opening and closing) and slowdown is
calculated approximately 4 seconds before the mechanical stops.
• AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING can be performed only with the presence of mechanical stops
in opening and closing position.
WARNING:
If during the AUTOMATIC programming the leaves stop before reaching the mechanical stops
provided, act on the AMP trimmer clockwise (towards +) and repeat the AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING.

Q50 16
8.2.2 SEQUENTIAL programming OBSTACLE DETECTION 2 LEAVES (with Remote control)
WARNING:
Before starting the programming procedure, give a start signal to the control unit and check that the thrust
force of the motor is adequate for the weight of the leaves, both in case of gates particularly light or very
heavy by pressing the AMP trimmer in a way that the leaves do not stop when opposing a slight counter pressure.
• The SEQUENTIAL PROGRAMMING can be made only in presence of Mechanical stop in opening and closing.

8.2.3 SEQUENTIAL programming OBSTACLE DETECTION - 1 LEAF (WORK button)
WARNING: Verify that the motor is connected to the output M1
of the control unit (terminal board JP2: inputs 17-18)
- Store a Remote control and use it for the programming (see par. 7)
- Check that the Dip n° 1 of the switch SW1 is ON.
- Check that the gate is in CLOSING position.
- Press and hold the LEARN & WORK buttons; DL8 led starts flashing.
- Press and hold the transmitter button. The leaf of the motor OPENS.
- When the leaf reaches the desired point of deceleration, press and release the transmitter button;
the leaf slows down.
- When the leaf reaches the end point, the amperometric gets triggered and the motor stops automatically.
- Press and release the transmitter button. The leaf starts closing.
- When the leaf reaches the desired point of deceleration press and release the transmitter button;
the motor slows down.
- When the leaf reaches the end point the amperometric gets triggered and the motor stops automatically.
- The control unit automatically exits from the sequential programming and is ready for normal operation

9. FAULTS REPORTING
The control unit signals through a series of LEDS anomalies on the set.
Here are the various reports of anomalies and possible solutions
DL2 Always ON • START Contact ON. Check the correct operation of all the accessories
connected to the input of START (N.A.).
DL3 OFF • EMERGENCY button (Stop) offline. Check the presence of the emergency button
or disable the input (see section 3.5)
DL4 OFF • CLOSING photocells not aligned. Check the placement of the receiver and transmitter.
• Not powered photocells. Verify the presence of the power supply of the transmitter and receiver.
DL5 OFF • OPENING photocells not aligned. Check the placement of the receiver and transmitter.
• There is an obstacle Check and remove the obstacle, also check for any sediment
within range of the photocells. blocking the lens.
• Photocells not powered. Check the presence of voltage on the transmitter and receiver.
DL6 OFF • Safety Edge not properly connected. Verify the proper wiring of the safety edge or deactivate it.

1) Choose the place for the box and mark the fixing points on the wall.
Pay attention to respect the distances between the holes (fig. 1).
2) Make the drillings and fix the box with the pre-drilled holes downwards.
3) Slip the washer round the edge of the box, starting from centre down (fig. 2).
Do not extend the washer, just push it into its housing and cut any excess.
4) Cut the rubber grommets the same size of the wires/cables for electrical wirings (fig. 3) so that the grommet
perfectly adheres to the cable/wire. Do not cut the rubber grommets you’re not going to use.
5) Put all the grommets in the pre-drilled holes of the box and drive the cables/wires (fig. 4).
6) Once wirings and installation are finished close the box and screw the cover on the box (fig. 5).
