7. RADIO CODES LEARNING PROCEDURE
The control unit DO NOT ALLOW the transmitter storing procedure if there are NOT ACTIVE SAFETY DEVICES.

Make sure that the safety inputs n° 4 STOP (DL3), n° 5 Photocells CLOSE (DL4), n° 6 Photocells OPEN (DL5),
n° 8 SAFETY EDGE (DL6) are connected.

Led OFF = input NOT CONNECTED

Led ON = input CONNECTED

If not even one safety device has been wired, proceed with the temporary EXCLUSION (see paragraph 3.5 / 3.6.)

The control unit is designed to be used with radio remote controls with fixed code or rolling code.
It is necessary to identify the type of the remote control to be used before you start programming.
After storing the first remote control, the control unit will work only with transmitters of that kind, fixed code
if the first stored remote control is a fixed code or rollling code if the first remote control stored is a rolling code,
with no chance to reset.

Before starting the storage of the remote controls, proceed (for safety) to the cancellation of any existing codes.

7.1 RADIO CODES cancellation

- Press at same time the buttons LEARN and BREAK and hold them down for at least 10 seconds
(the LED DL8 flashes quickly).
- The DL8 led stays ON STEADY and all the radio codes stored ARE DELETED.

7.2 Storing a remote control with START function

- Press and release the LEARN button; LED DL8 starts flashing.
- Within 5 seconds transmit the radio code to be stored (with the remote control).
- The control unit captures the code and leaves the programming.
- You can store up to a maximum of 64 different radio codes for the START command.

7.3 Storing a remote control with PEDESTRIAN START function

- Press twice the LEARN button; LED DL8 flashes quickly.
- Within 5 seconds transmit the radio code to be stored (with the remote control).
- The control unit captures the code and leaves the programming.
- You can store up to a maximum of 64 different radio codes for the START PEDESTRIAN command.

8. CONTROL UNIT PROGRAMMING
The Control unit is supplied by default with the SEQUENTIAL Programming.
The delay time between the leaves is set to 3 seconds (both in opening and closing) and slowdown is
calculated approximately 4 seconds before the mechanical stops.

8.1 AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING

8.1.1 AUTOMATIC Programming with 2 LEAVES OBSTACLE DETECTION
WARNING:
Before starting the programming procedure give a start signal to the control unit and check
that the thrust force of the motors is adequate for the weight of the leaves, both in case of gates particularly
light or very heavy by acting on the AMP trimmer in a way that the leaves do not stop when opposing a slight
counter pressure.

• AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING can be performed only with the presence of mechanical stops
in opening and closing position.

- Check the gate is in CLOSING position.

- Press and hold the LEARN button until the motors start (about 10 sec.)
- The automation performs a short closing and then begins an opening operation.
- The motor 1 opens - M1, after 3 sec. opens the motor 2 - M2 (delayed leaf).
- The motors stop at OPENING position, in this way the thrust force is calculated and the deceleration points
set (equal for both opening and closing).
- The gate automatically performs the closing operation, ending with a slowing-down and then it stops
correctly on the mechanical stops.
- At operation completed the control unit HAS STORED all the operation times.
- The unit is ready for normal operation.

WARNING:
If during the AUTOMATIC programming the leaves stop before reaching the mechanical stops
provided, act on the AMP trimmer clockwise (towards +) and repeat the AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING.

OBSTACLE DETECTION FUNC

- If the gate, in the opening phase, encounters an obstacle, it reverses 5 cm and shall close again
automatically after 30 sec. if the automatic closing is set, it is observed the programmed time;
if it is in the process of deceleration, it stops.
- If the gate, during the closing phase, encounters an obstacle, it reverses completely and closes
automatically after 30 seconds, if it is set the automatic closing, it is observed the programmed time;
if it is in the deceleration phase, it stops; in case of permanent obstacle or a too low amperometric,
it tries the reclosing three times at 30-second intervals each time (or PAUSE TIME set), then it stays open.

8.1.2 AUTOMATIC Programming with 1 LEAF OBSTACLE DETECTION

WARNING:
Verify that the motor is connected to the output M1 of the control unit (terminal board JP2: inputs 17-18)

- Check that the Dip n ° 1 of the switch SW1 is ON.

- Check that the gate is in CLOSING position.
- Press and hold the LEARN button until the motor starts (about 10 sec.)
- The automation performs a short closing and then begins an opening operation.
- The motors stop at OPENING position, in this way the force is calculated and defined the deceleration
points (equal for both opening and closing).
- The gate automatically performs the closing operation, ending with a slowing-down and then stops
correctly on the mechanical stops.

1) Choose the place for the box and mark the fixing points on the wall.
Pay attention to respect the distances between the holes (fig. 1).
2) Make the drillings and fix the box with the pre-drilled holes downwards.
3) Slip the washer round the edge of the box, starting from centre down (fig. 2).
Do not extend the washer, just push it into its housing and cut any excess.
4) Cut the rubber grommets the same size of the wires/cables for electrical wirings (fig. 3) so that the grommet
perfectly adheres to the cable/wire. Do not cut the rubber grommets you’re not going to use.
5) Put all the grommets in the pre-drilled holes of the box and drive the cables/wires (fig. 4).
6) Once wirings and installation are finished close the box and screw the cover on the box (fig. 5).

Do not pollute the environment

Some electronic components may contain polluting substances.

Ensure materials are passed to the authorised collection centres, according to the laws and the regulations
on force, for safe disposal.
