Acute Care  
● Provide bedside evaluations to the adult and geriatric population post intubation, tracheostomy removal, post 
stroke/ TBI, and as ordered.  
● Provide cognitive, expressive/receptive, dysphagia assessments such as: Modified Barium Swallow, informal 
evaluations, and feeding trials. 
● Recommend and modify patient’s diets.  
● Collaborate with other professionals: Respiratory Therapist, Nurses, Primary Care Physicians.

● Treated students following Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and 504 Plans, students displayed various 
communication challenges including: Language disorders, Articulation delays, Voice disorders, Fluency 
Disorders, and Oppositional Defiance Disorder.  
● Created lesson plans weekly to implement therapy strategies via in person therapy and teletherapy.  
● Follow NY State Covid-19 protocols, and modify lesson plans as needed.

● Teach clients to navigate their Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices using software such

● Consult with parents, and counsel them on speech and language strategies to use during teletherapy.

● Travel to provide speech and language therapy to preschoolers for articulation, language, cognition, and AAC in

Quality Services for the Autism Community QSAC​ | ​Fall 2018- Summer 2019 
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy Assistant    
● 1:1 Supervision and therapy aid to children and young adults with Autism and other comorbid disorders.
● Complete bookwork, implement programs specific to each child's IEP, assist students in completion of Activities 
of Daily Living daily. Implement Behavior Intervention Plans. 
● Assist students in navigating their Augmentative and Alternative Communication device systems LAMP, 
touchchat, proloquo2go. 
● Implement ABA therapy, develop rapport with all students, and go on community outings to stores and parks.
● Successfully completed all staff training protocols and received 100% on all ABA related training quizzes. 
 
YWCA 
Swim Instructor- Special Programs​ ​| ​Fall 2018- Winter 2019 
● Provide ability specific swim instruction to children and young adults with developmental disabilities.
● Worked closely with parents and the director of the program to ensure each session was catered to the student’s 
needs and abilities. Witnessed progress and celebrated successes.

● Privately tutored young adult with Apraxia in school subjects, as well as social skills. 
● Go on community outings to promote confidence in using public transportation and money exchange.

● Organized and promoted community service and fundraising events. Main projects include: children’s 
hospital visits, military care packages and femenine hygiene packages through #HappyPeriod to 
homeless women in NYC.
