Ref Your Office Letter No, DTS21-L3-PRCOM, dated 12-06-2020 (DA received through email on 15-06-2020). With reference to letter cited above, this office received subject drawings through email for review and approval. Comments of this office on the same are given below:- 1. In the submitted drawings of Event Reorder Panel, quantity if digital inputs are 1074 whereas quantity approved by this office is 1233. Same shall be provided according to the approved quantity. 2. In the submitted drawings, PT elements provided does not match the quantity of PT elements approved by this office for the subject Grid Station. Quantity of analogue inputs was finalized after series of meetings and same shall be followed in letter and spirit 3. In the submitted drawings only three elements are used for measurement of 3-phase PT supply and zero sequence voltage will be calculated by the device. It shall be clarified whether device is capable of showing oscillography of calculated zero sequence voltage otherwise 4-elements shall be used for 3-phase PT supply. 4.In the provided SLD of the Grid it can be seen that there is one number of mini 432kV Busbar which also has a PT. PT supply of the same shall also be monitored by the fault recorder. 5. For 132/11kV Power Transformers, PT inputs are missing. Same shall be added and if PTs are not available then provision shall be made for future use 6. Fault recorder shall be triggered by the electrical as well as mechanical protections of the transformers (220/132kV and 132/11kV). Same shall be added. 7. In the submitted drawings fault recorder triggering if 220/132kV ATF-1 is pafallel for all electrical protections. Same shall be segregated like ATF-2 and ATF-3.
