now it is a brand of 250 partner companies spanning 60 countries with branches. It has
sold its goods to 175 nations.

1. Identify the competitors you primary and secondary players?

The Johnson & Johnson’s competitors that primary and secondary players are:

 Pfizer
One of the leading pharmaceutical and research-based firms is Pfizer. For several
medical fields, including oncology, cardiology, immunology, diabetology, and
neurology, the organization manufactures and develops vaccines and medicines.

The organization receives assistance to handle its commercial activities from two
market divisions, Pfizer Creative Health and Pfizer Critical Health. Pfizer
Revolutionary Health emphasizes the development of medications and vaccines
aimed at improving a patient's life. Pfizer Critical Health is an aspect of research
and development that contributes to pharmaceutical industry advances.

in India for pharmaceuticals. It has an outstanding R&D wing that constantly
generates and innovates goods. Pfizer is known to be one of the top Johnson &
Johnson rivals due to its good brand image.

2. Identify which competitors are the ones firms should be most concerned with and why?

Pfizer is the one business that should be most worried about because Pfizer has many
other profitably performing products, especially products that initially have no direct
competitors on the market. In order to dominate target market segments, the firm profits
from proprietary drugs. However, the organization is undergoing changes in its market
competencies as the pharmaceutical industry is competitive. Also, the iconic brand is one
of Pfizer Inc.'s main business strengths. This brand is known for groundbreaking
pharmaceutical products worldwide. Furthermore, the large organizational scale of the
enterprise is a strength that contributes to capabilities that smaller firms do not have. This
organizational size provides economies of scale and capabilities for research and
development. Because of the uniqueness of many of its products, which have patent
protection, the firm is also strong.

3. Choose two likely competitive dimensions that describe the key strategies decisions in
the industry. You can use your own matrix in plotting your answer.

the clients' needs. Heart disease has been largely responsible for around seven million
deaths per year across the globe, according to the American Heart Association. And
because of this, the obstacle faced by pharmaceutical firms is to be able to develop new
drugs to treat heart ailments.
