Journal Topic #6: ​You wake up tomorrow morning to find all of your plans have been
cancelled for the next seven days and $10,000 on your dresser...tell me about your week.

I would make a big trip with my friends and family to Hawaii. We would go for the full
seven days. We would go to Honolulu and surf everyday in Oahu. Since I’d probably have
extra money, I would buy a ton of good food and souvenirs. We would all have a great time
and meet a lot of pro surfers. I would try not to spend all of my money and have my friends
use their money to help pay for things so I could have some extra money. I have
researched a lot about what to do in Hawaii so this trip would be crazy fun and I would
make the best of it. I can do a lot of the same things here in California but it’s just not the
same as Hawaii. There is warm weather and warm water and great food and people there.
There are also great waves and the conditions are good all day so you don’t have to wake
up early to go surf. In all I would have a great time with my family and friends and it would
be even better with having 10,000 dollars to spend. I wish that this would actually happen to
me because it would be an unforgettable week and I could really benefit from getting 10,000
dollars for free.
