AP Psychology Personality Mask

The first thing you’ll notice about the mask is that it is split into distinct sides: one orange
and one blue. This is to represent my opposite personality where I can be very cold and very
warm at the same time. You could say that the left side represents the more confident and direct
side of me while the right represents a more calming and closeted side that many can’t see. If
you look at the eye sockets of the mask you can see that the color is the opposite of each other.
This stands for the glimpse of the other personality that can be seen and that it is not completely
separated from each other.On the left side of my mask includes various objects including roses,
heart, fire and apple. It is used to convey my passion for the things I like that are drawn on the
left side. However on the fight side the rain, moon orcas and water are what calmed me down.
Despite the strong color it’s actually quite muted and light which indicates that I am still holding
back a little from my true colors. Not only does the apple represent my favorite fruit but also my
tendency to be rebellious (Cause Eve ate the apple in the garden of eden). The only color that
would stand out from the rest is the mystery liquid that is dripping from the left eye and the
bright yellow from the moon which is meant to be a representation of the two personas. The
vines around the heart are conveying how caged I feel sometimes since I was an only daughter
and was very much sheltered by my family.
