NOTE: The "Rounding Criteria" shown in the table below was applied to the actual result values to obtain the cost ranges shown in the TM&R tables. Note that Tires
in some instances, the TM&R cost may be higher at a lower hour period. The reason is that cost per hour is dependant upon the service interval of each Operator wages
specific component. For example, if several major drive train components are due for service or repair at the same interval hour, then the cost per hour Travel cost, machine transportation
of operation may increase for that specific hour period. Likewise, the same scenario my apply when comparing the results of similar machines at the
same hour period.
NOTICE
The following information is for reference only. Due to many variables impacting Total Maintenance and Repair (TM&R) costs, certain assumptions and exclusions were made to calculate the "average" cost ranges
listed below. All baseline cost estimates were developed for general construction & aggregate application at medium load factor unless noted otherwise. You are encouraged to use the TM&R baseline cost estimates as a
starting point or as a "quick reference". To develop an accurate TM&R cost for a specific customer or application, download the appropriate BUILDER file from the Service Marketing Information (SMI) website and modify the
data to meet your customer's requirements. Import the file into CALCULATOR and enter customer specific data and necessary dealership information. Your results may vary from the baseline results. The baseline results are
subject to change at any time and without notice.

PM $ - The Planned Maintenance (PM) baseline estimate represents the cost per hour for the PM events recommended according
to the Operation and Maintenance Manual (OMM). It includes the cost of the recommended maintenance parts, fluids, fluid
samples, inspections, and estimated labor to perform those tasks at the recommended interval.
Repair $ - The repair baseline estimate represents the cost per hour for the major component repairs. It includes the cost of the
parts and estimated labor to remove and install components, and the cost of the parts and estimated labor to repair or replace the
components at the estimated component life interval.
O&O $ - The Owning and Operating (O&O) baseline estimate represents the cost per hour total for the following: PM costs and
Repair costs (also shown separately), fuel costs, and the machine’s capital expenses (average transaction price for a new machine
and the residual value at the end of the first ownership period).
NOTICE
The following information is for reference only. Due to the many variables impacting owning and operating costs, certain
assumptions and exclusions were made to calculate the "average" costs listed below. We encourage you to use the O&O baseline
cost estimates as a starting point. To develop an accurate O&O cost for your customer, download the appropriate BUILDER file
and modify the data to suit your customer's circumstances. Import the file into CALCULATOR and enter customer specific data
and necessary dealership information. Your results may be different from the baseline results. The baseline results are subject to
change at any time and without any notice.

NOTE: All baseline cost estimates were developed for general construction / medium applications unless noted otherwise.
All baseline cost estimates developed prior to November 16, 2005 used a fuel cost of $1.25 per gallon U.S.
Estimates developed on or after November 16, 2005 used a fuel cost of $2.00 per gallon U.S.
NOTE: Estimates developed on or after September 1, 2006 used a fuel cost of $2.50 per gallon U.S.
