The spectrum of the types and quality of language is varied
between the perception of art and literature or the language we
use in our everyday lives. On one end, language becomes a form of art and literature. The language carries significant weight and meaning, where it needs to be broken down and interpreted to be properly understood. This language is the one often seen in poetry and novels, where the authors are trying to exhibit messages within their words. On the other end, language is straight forward and direct. The main objective is essentially quick and efficient communication. At the end of the day the ultimate crucial factor that determines where the given speech or writing lies upon the spectrum of everyday language and literature is whether or not the language is charged with meaning.
