Using Articles
What are articles?
Articles are words that define a noun as specific or unspecific.
English has two types of articles: definite and indefinite.
Please give me the large nail; it’s the only one strong
enough to hold this painting.
Omitting Articles
When do we omit articles?
Sometimes articles are omitted altogether before specific
nouns. In these cases, articles are implied but not present and
called a "zero article".
