There are so many things that can be learned from this film. First, intelligence is not
about how you can memorize the contents of a book and redeem it on an exam
answer sheet. It's also not about getting the highest score and becoming a parallel
champion. It should be noted that "3 Idiots" itself is a film based on the true story of
a genius named "Sonam Wangchuk". This film shows that an intelligent person is
not only good at memorizing theories but how to apply the knowledge that has been
obtained for the common welfare (not only himself). The various works patented by
Ranccho's character in this film are so inspiring and based on the need to solve
existing problems - even if they are relatively simple.

Second, being a useful person is not just a smart person, but also someone who has a
sense of empathy and is able to contribute to solving social problems. No matter
how smart you are, you can't do everything in life alone. You are a human, a social
being. It is only right that you have a sense of empathy for people. In this film, the
character Ranccho depicts someone who cares about the character Joy Lobo (played
by Ali Fazal) who decides to hang himself after his work is rejected by the head of
the campus, Dr. Viru Sahastrabuddhe or ViruS (played by Boman Irani), and it was
said that the work would not make him graduate. Ranccho tries to explain what
caused Lobo's death because of the pressure exerted by Dr. Virus.

Third, this film shows that you don't need to hate people who have insulted you and
a myriad of reasons that make you think that "it doesn't hurt to hate that person." In
this film, even though Dr. ViruS was already putting pressure (and hatred) on
Ranccho who was considered a "bastard student", Ranccho did not leave him when
the first daughter of Dr. ViruS itself experiences contractions and must immediately
give birth in an emergency and has the potential to endanger both the mother and the
baby. Ranccho's intelligence in theoretical science was put into practice by utilizing
existing items and finally succeeded in removing the baby by using the induction
method.
