Contemporary myths help the development of the nation consciousness people recognize the

identity by the others. They often pretend to change the historical facts and change the picture of
victims, always suggesting that guilty is on the another side. Contemporary myths are related to
minorities to show that the local people in a country have more power than these minorities. Myths
are used to recruit young people into right wing groups, by offering "easy solutions" to complex issues
(blaming those with even less rights and opportunities). They serve to make a difference between
governments, who are "always with the people", and "bad elites", who look only to their own interests.
Contemporary myths lead to a distrust and disinterest of young people in politics.
