Instructions for Logging Into Google Classroom

1. Login to your child’s student email. Go to www.gmail.com and enter their entire username,
including @nycstudents.net
2. Next, enter their password.
3. If you do not know the password, follow the instructions at the following link to retrieve it:
https://www.schools.nyc.gov/learning/learn-at-home/technical-tools-and-support/doe-student-
accounts

You will need your child’s OSIS #, which you can find by looking at their last report card or calling
the school.

Once you create a new password, write it down on this paper so you don’t forget.

4. Now that you are logged into their email, you can connect to their Google Classroom.
Go to https://classroom.google.com and click the + sign.

Click “Join class”

Enter the class code listed on this page. If you don’t know your Google Classroom code, call the
main office and write the class code down on this page for future reference.
