Abstract

Title: Nursing and Nurses’ Aides labor export into Japan – Situation and Potentiality
This paper focuses on the situation understanding of nursing and nurses’ aides export to
Japan, then propose the solutions for this labor export issue, and in order to improve the
labor qualification. Japan is forecasted to require more than 25,000 nurses and aides in the
future, and Vietnam is one of three countries that Japan focus on. The result shows that the
Vietnamese government and Japanese government have taken some important steps which
set up the base for nursing labor export; labor export companies have pushed up this
activity with list of orders; the labor has followed the regulation and met up the
requirements before working in Japan. However, the demand is still high, the number of
labor exported has not been met up the demand, compared to other fields. This paper has
proposed the three solution groups, from Government, Companies and Labor to catch up
this potential flow of labor export.
