APPLICATION
1. For me Rizal’s greatest attributes are his education, his wise tactics and movements,
his bravery and undying courage and his overflowing nationalism. While his weakest
attribute is his heart- He is a man who easily falls to a lady.
2. Yes. We need a strong, and hardworking individual specifically a leader with a genuine
love for the country just like Jose Rizal. A leader who fights its people, a leader who
prioritizes its people more than his life, and a leader that shows shining hopes and
grasps freedoms.
3. Jose Rizal’s ideals have awakened and empowered the sleeping hearts and rusty
minds of the Filipino people to have fearlessness and be a defender of the lifeless
Philippine country to achieve liberty against the Spaniards.
4. For the me, the most important contribution of every Filipino to (Rizal) country’s
progress is the youth having a quality of education. Filipino youth nowadays have
become more and more educated as generation passes. Rizal said, “Youth are the
future of the country,” and seeing youth having education will make Jose Rizal happy.

ESSAY
3. December 30, 1896, at the age of 35, Jose Rizal was executed by firing squad that was
believed to be his fellow Filipino. He died in Bagumbayan known as Luneta Park in Manila.
December 30, his death anniversary is the most suitable day to celebrate Rizal Day. His
birth does not define his courage and love to the country. You will not be considered a
hero if you don’t do anything; no actions, no sacrifices and no accomplishments to be
proud of. Rizal’s death is the mark of his heroism and virtue to the society. 30 th of
December is the evidence and memories of his greatest contributions; his wise
movements against the foreign invaders, his books that awaken the Filipino people and
his life, for the betterment and vibrant freedom of the Philippine country.
4. Many Filipinos worship Rizal like god. They are called Rizalistas. There is a philosophy
that is common to us: be gentle, respect and have kindness in every beliefs and cultures.
But for me as a Christian person living in Christian country who worship God, we cannot
deny the fact that we believe in a Bible that it is the true words from utmost being and it
tells us in Exodus 20:3, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me,” it means we should
not worship other gods like Jose Rizal or else God will be jealous and get angry to us. No
more explanation that Rizal exemplified incomparable nationalism and genuine love for
the Filipino people. But nothing compares to God even Rizal. Rizal is just a mere human,
but God is a superhuman who has undivided love and offered His life for humanity. For
me, if Jose Rizal was still alive, he will be sad seeing Filipino people treat him like a god
will in fact he is not. Because as far as I know, Jose Rizal read the Bible and he also
believed in God.
