1, About the book.
This book is about commonly mispronounced words in English.
2, How to work with this book.
The best way to learn words it is to go through a certain amount of words every day. For
example: you can spend 1 minute a day to learn 10 words and your pronunciation will improve
in just about 3 months.
There are many of us who would like to have a perfect english pronunciation as well as to
learn english in one week. Imagine a little child how long it takes to learn how to walk.
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to walk in one week. English is similar. Remember it is about
focusing on the long term goal.
3, How can I listen to the pronunciation of the words?
simply click on the following link https://translate.google.com/
select (CTRL+A) and copy (CTRL+C) 1 word you are not sure about and paste
(CTRL+V) it into
https://translate.google.com/
set the language to English (see the picture below)
and play the pronunciation using the button “speaker” (see the picture below)
4, Who will find this book useful?
I have created this book specifically for students whose english is their second language.
Correct pronunciation of english words is important for conversation with others. Students
who are studying on their own often can learn grammar from the book, but the correct
pronunciation is often forgotten.
